1. Who we are
Everest Design is a web design and development studio based in Montevideo, Uruguay. These terms apply to the site everestdesign.uy, the client portal and the services you hire from us.
By using the site or creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Quote tool and estimates
Prices shown in the quote tool, the Digital Checkup and the service pages are estimates. The final price is the one in the written proposal we send you, valid for 30 days.
Work starts once you accept the proposal and pay the agreed deposit.
3. Payments
We charge in US dollars (USD) by bank transfer, Mercado Pago or cash, according to the milestones agreed in the proposal.
If a payment is late we may pause the project until it is settled. Delivery dates move by the same amount of time.
4. Timelines and materials
Timelines start once we receive the deposit and the materials we need (copy, images, logos, access credentials).
If materials or approvals are delayed, the delivery date moves accordingly.
5. Your content
You are responsible for making sure the copy, images and trademarks you give us are yours or that you have permission to use them.
We do not publish illegal or misleading content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
6. Ownership of the work
Once the project is fully paid, the design and code developed for you become yours. Third-party libraries and tools keep their own licenses.
We may show the project in our portfolio and social media unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Domain, hosting and monthly plans
Domains and hosting renew every year (or every month, depending on the plan). We notify you 2 months, 1 month and 7 days in advance, and the charge shows up in your portal.
If the renewal is not paid on time, the domain or hosting may expire and the site may go offline. Recovering it later may involve extra provider fees.
Monthly plans (maintenance, SEO, growth and automation) are paid one month in advance, and you can cancel them with 30 days' notice.
8. Warranty and support
We fix development bugs that show up within 30 days of delivery at no cost.
New changes, additional content and issues caused by third parties or by changes made by others are quoted separately.
9. Your account
Your account is personal. Keep your password safe and let us know if you notice unauthorized use.
We may suspend accounts used for improper purposes.
10. Liability
We do our work with care, but we do not guarantee specific business results (sales, Google rankings or campaign metrics).
We are not liable for outages or failures of third-party services such as hosting providers, payment gateways or advertising platforms.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page with its update date.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. Any dispute will be settled before the courts of Montevideo.
